Take the guesswork out with Body Composition & Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) testing

Why get a Resting Metabolism Test?

Do you know how much energy your body really needs?

Your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) is the number of calories your body burns to maintain basic body functions such as heartbeat, breathing, and maintenance of body heat at rest. Think of RMR as your body’s engine, it tells you where your body’s horsepower is at. As everyone is unique, that means we all burn energy at a different rate.

A Resting Metabolic Rate assessment is a 10-minute breath test that measures your consumption of oxygen. It takes the guesswork out of your nutrition plan, by using an actual measurement instead of an estimation of your metabolism as the basis for your nutrition and fitness plans.

Why get a Body Composition Test?

Do you know what your body is made of?

Let’s say you’ve lost weight, how do you know if it is fat loss? Or maybe you’ve gained weight after dedicating months of consistent weight training, do you know for a fact that you’ve gained muscle? Or perhaps your weight has not changed, but you’ve lost fat and gained muscle mass?

Body Composition Analysis gives you a way to truly gauge your progress beyond just that number. Using imperceptible electrical current passed through pads placed on your hands and feet, we can quantify the segmental lean mass and body fat percentage throughout your body for balanced muscle development. It provides accurate, detailed information about your body’s unique make up and proportions. Measuring progress  is important, which is why the results sheet also includes a Body Composition History.
