Most services hand you generic info without context. That’s why we analyze what you're actually eating, compare it to what your body needs based on testing, then give you specific adjustments.

Your dietitian will review your full medical history, medications, and any lab work (e.g. blood work) you provide to ensure your nutrition strategy aligns with your overall health. This is where your testing turns into a personalized, strategic plan that connects the data to real-world results.

Before your session

You will fill out your intake forms, and track your meals for 3-7 days using our nutrition journaling app.

You will receive an invitation to join the portal and download the app when you sign up.

Choose photo-based logging (quick) or detailed entry—whatever fits your schedule.

Our system tracks analyzes your intake for:

  • Macronutrients (protein, carbs, fats)

  • Micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, fiber)

  • Meal timing patterns

  • Food quality and variety

  • Hydration levels

What you get

  • Complete macro and micronutrient analysis of your current diet (if detailed journal available)

  • Protein targets based on your lean body mass (typically 1g per pound) from your testing session

  • Meal timing strategies for energy optimization

  • Identification of nutrient gaps or overconsumption

  • Actionable recommendations with reasoning behind each change

  • Strategic goal setting aligned with your lifestyle

During your session

Your registered dietitian reviews this data against your nutrition needs based on your goals and test results. We identify gaps, patterns, and opportunities—then build your personalized strategy.

The Food Journaling Process

Here’s why we use journaling: your eating patterns reveal more than just calories. They show your schedule constraints, food preferences, stress patterns, and lifestyle realities. This context is essential for building strategies that actually stick.

How it works

  1. Download our nutrition tracking app (included at no cost)

  2. Log meals for 3-7 days before your session

Pro tip: use the free form entry function and click use data

  3. Use photo-based logging for speed or detailed entry for precision (you need the details for a better diet analysis)

  4. Our system generates comprehensive macro and micronutrient analysis

  5. Your dietitian reviews everything before your appointment

What makes our food journalling process different?

  • Protein distribution across meals

  • Carbohydrate timing around activity

  • Fat intake quality and quantity

  • Fibre and micronutrient adequacy

  • Eating patterns (meal frequency, portion sizes, food variety)

  • Potential food sensitivities (FODMAP issues, bloating triggers)

This level of detail is what separates data-driven nutrition coaching from generic advice. We're not guessing—we're analyzing your actual intake against your body's measured needs.

Use your insurance benefits

Many extended health care plans and health spending accounts cover Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist services. All services are provided by Registered Dietitians and are eligible for reimbursement if your plan includes dietitian or nutritionist coverage.

Do you provide insurance receipts?

Insurance receipts are available upon request. For packages, full payment is made upfront, and individual receipts are issued after each session. Receipts can then be submitted to your provider for reimbursement.

Are dietitian services tax-deductible?

Dietitian services may also be claimed as a tax-deductible medical expense on your income tax return.

Pro Tip:
While we are unable to check coverage on your behalf, by going online to your health insurance company website, you will often find the coverage listed under paramedical services.

Our nutrition coaching is like no other.

Data-driven, Not Generic

We don't hand you a standard meal plan. We analyze your metabolic rate, body composition, and actual food intake to build strategies around YOUR data. Every recommendation is backed by what your body is telling us.

Comprehensive Analysis

Most nutrition services look at calories alone. We analyze your complete macro and micronutrient intake, identify patterns affecting energy and performance, and address issues like bloating or digestive concerns through targeted interventions (FODMAP analysis, meal timing adjustments).

Registered Dietitian Expertise

Every coaching session is led by a registered dietitian—credentialed healthcare professionals with clinical training in metabolism, performance nutrition, and medical nutrition therapy.

Not nutritionists. Not coaches. Registered dietitians who can interpret complex data and address health conditions.

Evidence-based, No-BS

We explain the reasoning behind every recommendation. No motivational fluff. No morality around food choices. Just evidence-based strategies and the education you need to make informed decisions.

Here to guide you with your nutrition.

All testing is conducted and interpreted by registered dietitians—certified healthcare professionals with extensive training in metabolism, body composition analysis, and performance nutrition.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your dietitian reviews your test results (metabolic rate and body composition) alongside your tracked food intake. We identify what's working, what isn't, and build specific strategies including protein targets, meal timing, and energy optimization tactics.

  • No. Initial tracking helps us understand your patterns and build your baseline strategy. Many clients track periodically (a few days per month) to stay calibrated, but the goal is educated decision-making—not rigid tracking forever.

  • We’re trialing a service where we can give you a 2-week trial and a low monthly rate. Check the pricing here.

  • Yes. Our dietitians specialize in performance nutrition—optimizing meal timing around training, adjusting macros for your activity level, and tracking body composition to ensure you're building muscle efficiently.

  • While personal trainers are great at exercise programming, and there are great coaches out there, personal trainers typically don't have clinical nutrition training or credentials to interpret metabolic testing. Our registered dietitians specialize in translating test data into evidence-based nutrition strategies.

  • Building lean muscle mass increases your resting metabolic rate. Our body composition analysis shows your current muscle mass, and follow-up testing tracks increases. We also identify if you're undereating, which can slow metabolism over time.

  • Yes. Registered dietitians are trained in medical nutrition therapy for conditions like high cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure, to name a few. We build strategies that address both performance and health goals.

  • For nutrition assessments, you’re welcome to sit in on each other’s session but we’ll focus on one person at a time for the best results.

  • Text us at 403-719-5858.

Not all nutrition professionals are created equal.

Anyone can call themselves a "nutritionist" or "nutrition coach," but only registered dietitians have the clinical education and supervised practice required to interpret metabolic testing and build evidence-based strategies.

Our dietitians specialize in translating test results into strategic nutrition plans for high-performing professionals—whether you're training for performance, optimizing body composition, or managing health conditions.
