The Eatuitive Way

Our approach to bridging the gap between effort and results.

Step 1: Measure what you burn to optimize what you eat.

Baseline Metabolism & Body Composition Testing (1 hour, $240)

Your first session provides a complete snapshot of how your body works from 2 tests—how much energy you burn and what your body is made of.

  • Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR): A 10-minute breath test using indirect calorimetry, the gold standard for metabolic measurement. Instead of formulas or estimates, this test measures your body’s actual oxygen consumption to determine your true calorie burn at rest..

  • Body Composition Analysis: The InBody scan shows your body’s breakdown of muscle, fat, and hydration in under a minute. You’ll see lean muscle mass by segment, total body fat percentage, visceral fat level, and body water balance.

From these results, your dietitian determines your personal calorie and protein targets—so your nutrition plan aligns with your actual body composition. You'll leave with detailed results that’s easy to understand and expert interpretation from a registered dietitian—so you can apply it right away.

📍YOU ARE HERE - Step 2📍

Step 2: Create a nutrition strategy that fits your lifestyle.

Comprehensive Nutrition Assessment (1 hour, $220)

Your dietitian evaluates your nutrition, habits, health history, and goals to develop a personalized plan that supports fat loss, muscle growth, and long-term health. This includes individualized macro and protein targets, meal timing, and energy strategies built around your lifestyle and performance needs.

Before your session: You’ll complete intake forms and log your meals using our nutrition app. Choose photo-based or detailed tracking—your dietitian will review your intake to assess calories, macros, micronutrients, and patterns.

During your session: We connect your food journal, test data, and goals to create a tailored plan. We can also review your blood work, health conditions, and wearable data to provide deeper insight.

Our goal is to meet you where you are to create a plan that’s realistic, sustainable, and adaptable as your needs evolve. You’ll understand the “why” behind every recommendation so you can make confident, lasting changes that fit your life.

Step 3: Monitor what’s working to bridge the gap between effort and results.

Follow-Up Sessions, Re-Tests & Exercise Assessments (10-60 min, $100-220)

Your initial plan is just a baseline—real change comes from ongoing follow-up. These sessions offer 1:1 support, re-testing, and targeted adjustments to keep progress steady. We track muscle gain, fat loss, and metabolic shifts so your plan evolves with your body.

  • Quick Re-Tests (10 min): Brief body composition check-ins

  • Full Follow-Ups (30–45 min): In-depth reviews to interpret results and refine your nutrition strategy

  • Exercise Assessments (60 min): Integrated evaluation of movement, recovery, and training to align exercise with your goals

Each session keeps your plan data-driven, adaptable, and sustainable for lasting results.

📍SESSION 2:

Nutrition Assessment & Journal Analysis

Recommended after you complete the baseline testing session.

Superimposed on the image is a meal log for breakfast listing oatmeal with maple and brown sugar, orange juice, and whole milk yogurt with mixed berries, showing nutrition details and hunger level.

Most services hand you generic info without context. That’s why we analyze what you're actually eating, compare it to what your body needs based on testing, then give you specific adjustments.

Your dietitian will review your full medical history, medications, and any lab work (e.g. blood work) you provide to ensure your nutrition strategy aligns with your overall health. This is where your testing turns into a personalized, strategic plan that connects the data to real-world results.

Use your insurance benefits

Many extended health plans cover Registered Dietitian services. All sessions are provided by Registered Dietitians and are eligible for reimbursement. Check with your plan to confirm coverage.

Do you provide insurance receipts?

Insurance receipts are available upon request. For packages, full payment is made upfront, and individual split receipts are issued after each session. Receipts can then be submitted to your provider for reimbursement.

Do you direct bill?

Direct billing is available for Blue Cross, Canada Life, Desjardins, and Equitable Life. A 5% admin fee applies to packages to cover multiple claim processing, while per-session billing has no fee as sessions are billed at the full undiscounted rate. Read our Booking Policy for full details.

Pro Tip:
Check your dietitian coverage under paramedical services in your insurance online portal. Before your first session, review your plan details to make the most of your benefits:

  • Check your plan’s Reasonable & Customary Fee (RCF) — the maximum reimbursed per session. This helps us split package receipts for full coverage.

  • If your benefits reset soon, consider booking sessions or touch-bases before renewal to use your coverage fully.

  • Dietitian services may also qualify as a tax-deductible medical expense.

Our nutrition coaching is like no other.

Data-driven, Not Generic

We don't hand you a standard meal plan. We analyze your metabolic rate, body composition, and actual food intake to build strategies around YOUR data. Every recommendation is backed by what your body is telling us.

Comprehensive Analysis

Most nutrition services look at calories alone. We analyze your complete macro and micronutrient intake, identify patterns affecting energy and performance, and address issues like bloating or digestive concerns through targeted interventions (FODMAP analysis, meal timing adjustments).

Registered Dietitian Expertise

Every coaching session is led by a registered dietitian—credentialed healthcare professionals with clinical training in metabolism, performance nutrition, and medical nutrition therapy.

Not nutritionists. Not coaches. Registered dietitians who can interpret complex data and address health conditions.

Evidence-based, No-BS

We explain the reasoning behind every recommendation. No motivational fluff. No morality around food choices. Just evidence-based strategies and the education you need to make informed decisions.

Here to guide you with your nutrition.

All testing is conducted and interpreted by registered dietitians—certified healthcare professionals with extensive training in metabolism, body composition analysis, and performance nutrition.

A woman with long black hair, wearing a white jacket and blue jeans, sitting in front of a historic building with a dome, fountain, and a black street lamp.

Not all nutrition professionals are created equal.

Anyone can call themselves a "nutritionist" or "nutrition coach," but only registered dietitians have the clinical education and supervised practice required to interpret metabolic testing and build evidence-based strategies.

Our dietitians specialize in translating test results into strategic nutrition plans for high-performing professionals—whether you're training for performance, optimizing body composition, or managing health conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your dietitian reviews your test results (metabolic rate and body composition) alongside your tracked food intake. We identify what's working, what isn't, and build specific strategies including protein targets, meal timing, and energy optimization tactics.

  • No. Initial tracking helps us understand your patterns and build your baseline strategy. Many clients track periodically (a few days per month) to stay calibrated, but the goal is educated decision-making—not rigid tracking forever.

  • Not at this time, however we can support by providing meal planning skills support, along with recipes / calorie structure templates!

  • Yes. Our dietitians specialize in performance nutrition—optimizing meal timing around training, adjusting macros for your activity level, and tracking body composition to ensure you're building muscle efficiently.

  • While personal trainers are great at exercise programming, and there are great coaches out there, personal trainers typically don't have clinical nutrition training or credentials to interpret metabolic testing. Our registered dietitians specialize in translating test data into evidence-based nutrition strategies.

  • Building lean muscle mass increases your resting metabolic rate. Our body composition analysis shows your current muscle mass, and follow-up testing tracks increases. We also identify if you're undereating, which can slow metabolism over time.

  • Yes. Registered dietitians are trained in medical nutrition therapy for conditions like high cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure, to name a few. We build strategies that address both performance and health goals.

  • For nutrition assessments, you’re welcome to sit in on each other’s session but we’ll focus on one person at a time for the best results.
