VO₂ Max testing using a mixing chamber technology is considered the Gold Standard of your aerobic fitness and respiratory health, which is highly correlated to quality of life and longevity. VO₂ Max testing provides a big picture view of your current fitness and potential, including personalized heart rate zones, fitness level, and recovery data, fitness level, and recovery data.

A unique feature of CardioCoach® is the presentation of substrate utilization: the ratio of fats versus carbohydrates burned throughout each heart rate level during testing. This is especially helpful for weight loss or refueling.

Whether you are a conditioned athlete or a beginner to fitness, a VO2 max fitness assessment can help. A vo2 max test begins with a mask fitting and heart rate strapped, then you will gradually increase the intensity of the exercise until anaerobic threshold is detected, which takes anywhere between 7 to 20 minutes. This test is available on any piece of cardio equipment, like a treadmill or a bike. You will receive valuable data including aerobic threshold, VO2 max fuel sources and target heart rate zones that you can apply in your exercise routine straight away.

Not all nutrition professionals are created equal.

While anyone can call themselves a "nutrition coach," registered dietitians are regulated healthcare professionals with the clinical education and supervised practice training to interpret metabolic testing and build evidence-based strategies.

Our dietitians specialize in translating test results into strategic nutrition plans for high-performing professionals—whether you're training for performance, optimizing body composition, or managing health conditions.
