48 Hours prior to the test:
Refrain from engaging in new or strenuous exercise. Light training or rest are preferable.
Avoid alcohol or tobacco products.
Unless medically necessary, avoid beta-blockers, steroids & cold medications, as that may impact your aerobic performance.
*If you have experienced respiratory, gastrointestinal, or any other illness that has affected your exercise capacity within the two weeks leading up to your scheduled test, kindly contact us.
On the day of the test:
Do not consume caffeine for at least four hours before the test.
Refrain from consuming any food or drink with calories within two hours of the test.
Ensure that you drink sufficient fluids leading up to the test but refrain from drinking any fluids for one hour prior to the test.
Wear comfortable athletic shoes and workout clothes to the test.
